Kentucky has its annual Blue-White scrimmage
Oct 28, 2015 - 1:30 AM LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) Freshman Skal Labissiere had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the White team to a 74-66 victory over the Blue squad in a preseason scrimmage Tuesday night.Labissiere was 8 for 13 from the field and blocked three shots.
Point guard Tyler Ulis had 10 points and 15 assists for the White team.
Senior Alex Poythress, who missed 29 games after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament last season, finished with 17 points, while playing for both teams. Poythress scored 12 points in the first half as a member of the Blue team.
Freshman Charles Matthews added 17 points and Isaiah Briscoe had 16 points while playing for both teams.
The teams split lineups during the scrimmage, giving Kentucky coach John Calipari an opportunity to experience with multiple lineups. Kentucky replaces more than 80 percent of its scoring from last year's Final Four team, which went undefeated during the regular season and finished 38-1 overall.
