Kentucky signs 6 in latest top-flight recruiting class

(AP) Kentucky has landed one of its top recruiting classes with the signing of six highly rated prospects, including four ranked top-10 nationally.The school on Thursday announced the signings of forwards Eldrice ''Bam'' Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel, Sacha Killeya-Jones and Tai Wynyard and guards Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox. All are rated at least four-star prospects by national recruiting services; Adebayo, Fox, Gabriel and Monk are ranked among the top 10.
Monk, 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, is considered the top shooting guard in the 2016 class. Two services rate the 6-9 Adebayo, who has experience with USA Basketball, sixth overall. Kentucky coach John Calipari said Thursday in a release that his latest highly rated class all wanted to play together and ''wants to be one of the best groups ever.''
