Ohio State (18-8) at No. 16 Purdue (21-7) 4:00 p.m. EST
WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- After a series of defensive breakdowns led to a road loss, No. 16 Purdue will be looking to bounce back against Ohio State.
The Boilermakers (21-7, 10-5 Big Ten) watched their hopes for a Big Ten title take a hit when Michigan shot 63 percent, including 17-of-21 in the second half, en route to an 87-78 win on Thursday.
Purdue had no answers for the Wolverines on the defensive end, allowing them to run away late in the second half while draining eight field goals in a row.
The setback severely damaged the Boilermakers' hopes of a Big Ten regular season title, as they sit two games behind Michigan State (22-5, 12-3) with three to play. Purdue ends the season at Michigan State on March 8.
The Buckeyes (18-8, 8-7) need a win to stay on the NCAA Tournament bubble. They currently sit in a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference after snapping a three-game slide with a 73-59 win over Penn State on Tuesday.
Ohio State won the first meeting between the teams, 80-72, in overtime on February 2. Evan Turner led the way with 26 points and William Buford added 22 for the Buckeyes.
