No. 2 UConn has no trouble against Cincinnati
Jan 29, 2011 - 9:18 PM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Maya Moore scored a game-best 23 points while dishing out six assists and grabbing five rebounds in No. 2 Connecticut's 80-46 rout of Cincinnati at Fifth Third Arena.Tiffany Hayes posted 16 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Huskies (20-1, 8-0 Big East), who have claimed eight straight since their lone loss against Stanford on December 30.
Kayla Cook led the Bearcats (8-12, 1-7) with 13 points and Shareese Ulis chipped in 12 points in defeat.
The game was over quickly as UConn scored 17 of the game's first 20 points en route to a 40-24 lead at halftime.
The Huskies posted another 40 points in the second half while holding Cincinnati to 22 in an easy conference win.
