Stevens scores 32 to lead No. 14 Duke women past Army 72-61

Nov 22, 2015 - 9:43 PM DURHAM, N.C. (AP) Azura Stevens made 14 of 18 shots for a career-high 32 points and No. 14 Duke overcame a slow start to hand Army its first loss 72-61 on Sunday.

The Blue Devils (3-1) trailed by 10 in the first quarter and 34-31 at the half as Army made 6 of 12 from 3-point range and Kelsey Minato had 18 of her 23 points.

Stevens, who also had 14 rebounds, scored the first four points of the second half to start Duke on a 12-2 run for a 43-36 lead. The Blue Devils out-scored Army 19-5 in the quarter and shot 56 percent in the second half, although they finished 3 of 13 behind the arc.

Rebecca Greenwell added 13 points for Duke and Angela Salvadores came off the bench to score 13 with five rebounds and five assists.

Minato is now 29 points from becoming Army's all-time leading scorer.
