Louisiana Tech's Allen named Ray Guy Award winner
Dec 9, 2011 - 3:04 AM Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Louisiana Tech junior Ryan Allen has been named the 2011 winner of the Ray Guy Award, given annually to the nation's best punter.Allen posted a 46.3 average on 78 punts this season, with a nation-leading 37 being downed inside the 20-yard line.
Auburn's Steven Clark and Oregon's Jackson Rice were the other finalists.
