Oregon CB Mitchell entering draft
Jan 3, 2014 - 11:18 PM Eugene, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Oregon cornerback Terrance Mitchell announced Friday that he will forgo his final season of eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft.A three-year starter for the Ducks, Mitchell led Oregon with five interceptions and 12 passes defensed during his junior season and compiled seven picks and 32 passes defensed over 40 collegiate games.
Mitchell is the first underclassmen to enter this year's draft for the 10th- ranked Ducks, who finished off an 11-2 season with Monday's 30-7 rout of Texas in the Alamo Bowl.
Star quarterback Marcus Mariota has previously announced that he will be returning for his senior season.
