Penn seeks to rebound with 2014 schedule
Feb 25, 2014 - 6:02 PM Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Penn football will play only four home games as it tries to rebound from a rare losing season.The Ivy League university announced a 10-game 2014 schedule on Tuesday. The Quakers finished 4-6 last year - only the second losing record under coach Al Bagnoli, who begins his 23rd season.
Penn will make its first-ever trip to Florida on Sept. 20 to open its season at Jacksonville.
The Quakers will host Villanova in its home opener on Sept. 27. Their other home games are within the Ivy League against Columbia (Oct. 18), Brown (Nov. 1) and Harvard (Nov. 15).
Penn also will visit Ivy opponents Dartmouth (Oct. 4), Yale (Oct. 25), Princeton (Nov. 8) and Cornell (Nov. 22) as well as Fordham (Oct. 11) from the Patriot League.
