Senior Bowl invites Northern Iowa's Johnson
Nov 11, 2014 - 9:40 AM Cedar Falls, IA (SportsNetwork.com) - Northern Iowa senior running back David Johnson was invited on Monday to play in the 2015 Senior Bowl.This season's college all-star game will be played on Jan. 24 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
Johnson, a nominee for the Walter Payton Award, is the first player in UNI history to rush for over 1,000 yards in three different seasons. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Johnson holds the school records for career all-purpose yards, rushing yards and touchdowns.
