Nov 21, 2015 - 8:55 PM COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook is not starting for the No. 9 Spartans against No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday.Cook missed most of last week's game against Maryland after taking a shot to his right shoulder. Michigan State gave little information about Cook leading up to the game. Coach Mark Dantonio said Cook was a 9 1/2 on a scale of 10 when asked about the quarterback's health.
Tyler O'Conner is starting in Cook's place. The junior has played four games this season and is 6 for 11 for 44 yards with a touchdown pass and an interception.
