ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- Marc Bulger threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns as the St. Louis Rams defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 24-10, on Saturday.
Bulger completed 18-of-25 passes and threw TD strikes of 4 yards to Keenan Burton and 1 yard to Travis Minor in the second quarter.
The Ravens were supposed to start Troy Smith at quarterback, but the former Ohio State star was scratched due to a virus.
Joe Flacco, a first-round pick out of Delaware, got the call and went 18-of-37 for 152 yards and one touchdown, a 15-yard pass to Derrick Mason in the third quarter.
Lance Ball, a rookie out of Maryland, capped the scoring for the Rams with a 5-yard run in the third quarter. Ball had 13 carries for 48 yards.
