Jets sign OTs Heyer, Willis
May 29, 2012 - 9:54 PM Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets have signed offensive tackles Stephon Heyer and Ray Willis.Heyer played in 12 games (two starts) for the Oakland Raiders in 2011. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Washington in 2007 and started 33 games for the Redskins from 2007-10.
Willis spent six seasons with Seattle (2005-10) and played in 49 games, starting 26, with the Seahawks. He spent the entire 2010 season on injured reserve, then signed with New Orleans on November 2, 2011 before being waived after two weeks on the active roster.
