Patriots re-sign S Ihedigbo

Jun 23, 2012 - 12:58 AM Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots have re-signed safety James Ihedigbo.

Terms of the deal, which was announced Friday, were not disclosed.

Ihedigbo, 28, was originally signed by the Patriots last August after spending three seasons with the New York Jets mainly as a special teams player.

He had 69 tackles in 16 games for New England, including 12 starts. He started all three playoff games, recording a sack.
