Jets acquire OT Otah from Panthers
Jul 23, 2012 - 9:22 PM Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets have acquired offensive tackle Jeff Otah from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for an undisclosed conditional draft choice.Otah played in four games last season before landing on injured reserve with a left knee injury.
The mammoth 6-foot-6, 330-pound tackle missed the entire 2010 season after tearing the meniscus in his knee during a December 13, 2009 game against the New England Patriots. Otah missed the final three games in 2009.
A first-round pick of the Panthers in 2008, Otah played in 29 games with Carolina.
