Steelers sign first-round pick DeCastro
Jul 24, 2012 - 9:29 PM Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers signed guard David DeCastro on Tuesday.DeCastro was selected by the Steelers with the 24th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
During his career at Stanford, DeCastro started 39 games at right guard. As a senior in 2011, DeCastro recorded a blocking consistency grade of 96.88 percent, the highest mark by any offensive lineman in Pac-12 Conference history since consistency grades were kept in 1985.
