Seahawks give Clemons multi-year pact
Jul 25, 2012 - 12:27 AM Renton, WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with defensive end Chris Clemons on a multi-year contract extension.Clemons was acquired from the Eagles on March 16, 2010 in the deal that sent defensive end Darryl Tapp to Philadelphia.
In two seasons with Seattle, Clemons has started all 32 games and posted career-highs in sacks with 11 in each season. He had a total of 20 sacks in his first six NFL seasons.
