Saints re-sign LB Haralson
Apr 1, 2014 - 10:59 PM Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints re-signed linebacker Parys Haralson to a one-year contract on Tuesday.Haralson finished the 2013 season on injured reserve after tearing a pectoral muscle during the second quarter of the Saints' 26-24 playoff win over the Philadelphia Eagles in early January.
In 16 games (eight starts) this past season, Haralson registered 3 1/2 sacks and 35 total tackles.
The 6-foot, 255-pounder was a fifth-round draft pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2006 out of Tennessee, and has totaled 330 tackles and 25 sacks over his seven-year NFL career.
