Cardinals ink S Bucannon
Jun 5, 2014 - 10:01 PM Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Cardinals signed safety Deone Bucannon to a four-year contract on Thursday.Bucannon was selected by the Cardinals with the 27th overall pick in this year's draft. In 2013, Bucannon led the Pac-12 with 114 tackles to go along with six interceptions for Washington State.
A two-time All-Pac-12 conference first-team selection, Bucannon played in 49 career games (43 starts) with the Cougars. He recorded 384 tackles (268 solo), 15 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, one sack and 14 special teams tackles.
The Cardinals now have all seven members of their 2014 draft class under contract.
