Branch released by Bills

Aug 24, 2014 - 7:28 PM Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Bills announced on Sunday that defensive lineman Alan Branch has been released.

The move comes less than 24 hours after Bills head coach Doug Marrone revealed that Branch was arrested, according to sources which told the Buffalo News, for driving under the influence.

A Michigan product, the 29-year-old New Mexico native participated in all 16 games, starting 13, during his first season with Buffalo in 2013. However, Branch failed a conditioning test upon reporting for training camp this season.
