Bucs lose Clayton to biceps injury
Sep 12, 2014 - 2:48 PM Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn has been placed on injured reserve because of a biceps injury.It's the second time in three years Clayborn will miss a majority of the season due to injury. In September 2012, he went on IR with a knee injury.
Clayborn, the Bucs' first-round pick in 2011, has started all 36 games he has played for the team. He had 7 1/2 sacks as a rookie in 2011 and 5 1/2 sacks in 2013, playing all 16 games each season.
The Buccaneers re-signed defensive end Scott Solomon, who was waived earlier in the week.
