Panthers WR Benjamin practices, still questionable

Oct 17, 2014 - 6:18 PM Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers due to a concussion.

Benjamin suffered the injury during last week's game against Cincinnati. The first-round draft pick practiced Friday for the first time this week, but hasn't yet been cleared by an independent neurologist.

Benjamin has 416 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his first six NFL games.

Running back Jonathan Stewart will start Sunday against Green Bay after missing the last three games with a knee sprain. He is officially listed as probable.

The rest of the backfield remains banged up for Carolina. Darrin Reaves (calf) is questionable while Fozzy Whittaker (thigh) and DeAngelo Williams (ankle) are doubtful.

Guard Amini Silatolu (calf), linebacker Chase Blackburn (knee) and cornerback Bene Benwikere (ankle) are also doubtful.
