Saints place WR Morgan on suspended list
Oct 28, 2014 - 8:23 PM Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints have placed wide receiver Joe Morgan on the reserve/suspended list.Head coach Sean Payton announced the move during Tuesday's press conference, but did not reveal the length of the suspension or the reason for it.
To fill his spot, the Saints re-signed tight end Tom Crabtree to the active roster.
Morgan appeared in just one game this season and has yet to record a single catch.
The 26-year-old Morgan caught 10 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns in 2012, but tore his ACL in training camp last year before being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
