Lindley to start at QB for Cardinals

Dec 15, 2014 - 8:32 PM Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians named Ryan Lindley the starting quarterback for Sunday's critical game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Lindley replaced Drew Stanton in last Thursday night's game against St. Louis, completing 4-of-10 passes for 30 yards.

Stanton was injured while being sacked in the 12-6 win over the Rams and is expected to miss 3-to-4 weeks with reportedly two partially torn knee ligaments.

Lindley has started four games in his NFL career, all with the Cardinals during the 2012 season.

Arians also said there would be a package of plays for rookie quarterback Logan Thomas.

The Cardinals, who have clinched a playoff spot, are one game ahead of the Seahawks in the NFC West.
