Panthers trim 8 players from roster
Aug 30, 2015 - 7:24 PM CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) The Carolina Panthers have cut eight players, including two wide receivers.Carolina released wide receivers Paul Browning and Avius Capers, fullback Lee Ward, tight end Dallas Walker, linebacker Kevin Reddick, defensive end Steve Miller and punter Matt Wile. It also terminated the contract of veteran offensive tackle Tony Hills on Sunday.
The Panthers must trim their roster to 75 players by Monday.
