Jets acquire rights to Gustavsson
Jun 23, 2012 - 4:02 PM Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Winnipeg Jets on Saturday acquired the rights to goaltender Jonas Gustavsson from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft choice in 2013.Gustavsson finished 17-17-4 with a 2.92 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and a career-high four shutouts for the Leafs a season ago.
The 27-year-old Swede, nicknamed "Monster," has compiled a 39-45-15 record, 2.98 GAA and five whitewashes in 107 games over three NHL campaigns for Toronto.
