Jets re-sign Pavelec
Jun 25, 2012 - 8:50 PM Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Winnipeg Jets announced that they re- signed goaltender Ondrej Pavelec to an undisclosed contract on Monday.Pavelec, who will turn 25 before the start of next season, went 29-8-9 with a 2.91 goals against average and a .906 save percentage last season. He also matched a career best with four shutouts.
In his five-year career, all of which with the Winnipeg/Atlanta franchise, the Czech is 70-79-25 with a 2.99 GAA and a .907 save percentage. He has 10 career shutouts.
