Bolts re-sign Mikkelson
Jun 27, 2012 - 7:37 PM Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed defenseman Brendan Mikkelson to a one-year, one-way contract on Wednesday.Acquired from the Calgary Flames on January 6 for Blair Jones, the 25-year-old Mikkelson registered one goal, three assists and 13 penalty minutes in 41 games with the Lightning last season.
In 127 career NHL games with the Anaheim Ducks, Flames and Lightning, the 6- foot-3 206 pounder has one goal, eight helpers and 53 penalty minutes.
