Lightning re-sign Oberg
Jul 1, 2012 - 3:41 PM Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed defenseman Evan Oberg to a one-year contract.Financial terms of the two-way deal for the 24-year-old blueliner were not disclosed.
Oberg appeared in three games with the Lightning last season after being acquired from Florida in December. He recorded a plus-two rating in his limited NHL action last year.
The Alberta native also appeared in four games with Vancouver over the previous two seasons and has failed to register a point in NHL games.
