Blackhawks agree to terms with D Brookbank
Jul 1, 2012 - 8:09 PM Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with defenseman Sheldon Brookbank on a two-year contract Sunday.Brookbank, 31, set career-highs with three goals and 11 assists in 80 games with the Anaheim Ducks last season. He also had a plus-11 rating and 72 penalty minutes.
The Lanigan, Saskatchewan native has appeared in 277 career games with Nashville, New Jersey and Anaheim, collecting four goals, 32 assists, 400 penalty minutes and a plus-17 rating.
