Radulov returns to Russia

Jul 2, 2012 - 4:30 PM Moscow, Russia (Sports Network) - Alexander Radulov's second stint in Nashville has officially concluded.

The embattled Russian winger signed a four-year contract with CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League, according to Sovetsky Sport on Monday.

The 25-year-old spent four seasons with Salavat Yulayev, being named the Most Valuable Player in the KHL for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 campaigns, but returned to the Predators at the end of this past season amidst a cloud of intrigue.

He totaled three goals and seven points in nine regular-season appearances, adding one goal and six points in eight playoff games.

Radulov originally left the Music City after being suspended by the club for failing to notify them of his return for the 2008-09 season. He posted career highs with 26 goals, 32 assists and 58 points in 81 games for the Preds in 2007-08.

Under the terms of his original three-year, entry-level deal signed in 2006, once Radulov played in the NHL, the final year of his original contract was activated and he became a restricted free agent as of Sunday.
