Ottawa inks Neil to extension
Jul 12, 2012 - 6:01 PM Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators signed forward Chris Neil to a three-year extension that will keep him with the team through the 2015-16 season.Neil has spent his entire 10-year career with the Senators, collecting 90 goals and 110 assists over 731 games.
He is also the franchise leader in penalty minutes in the regular season (1,861) and playoffs (153).
The Flesherton, Ontario, native finished last season with 13 goals, 15 assists, 178 penalty minutes and a minus-10 rating in 72 games.
