Sharks ink Galiardi, three others
Jul 12, 2012 - 7:45 PM San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks inked forward TJ Galiardi to a one-year contract amongst four signings on Thursday.Galiardi totaled nine goals and 15 points in 69 games between Colorado and San Jose last season. Over 185 NHL contests with the Avs and Sharks since 2008, the 24-year-old Calgary native has posted 34 goals and 39 assists.
San Jose also signed forward John McCarthy to a two-year deal and forwards Jonathan Matsumoto and Frazer McLaren to one-year deals.
McCarthy, 25, went scoreless in 10 appearances for the Sharks last season. He has seen 51 games in the NHL, all for the San Jose franchise, over the last three campaigns.
McLaren, 24, has totaled a goal and six points in 39 games with San Jose since 2009.
Matsumoto, a Bowling Green product and Flyers draft selection in 2006, picked up two goals in 14 pro contests with Carolina and Florida over the last two seasons.
