Leafs ink 2011 first-round pick
Aug 9, 2012 - 10:09 PM Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Tyler Biggs to a three-year, entry-level contract on Thursday.Biggs was taken in the first round, 22nd overall, in the 2011 draft. He totaled nine goals and 17 points in 37 games last year in his freshman season for the Miami-Ohio RedHawks.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder and Cincinnati native helped the United States win gold at the 2010 and 2011 under-18 World Championships.
