Flames acquire Bollig from Blackhawks

Jun 28, 2014 - 4:33 PM Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Calgary Flames acquired forward Brandon Bollig from the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday in exchange for the 83rd overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.

Bollig, 27, totaled seven goals and seven assists in 82 games with the Blackhawks this past season and had signed a three-year contract extension in March.

He did not record a point in 43 combined games with Chicago over the previous two seasons.

The Blackhawks used the pick on forward Matheson Iacopelli.
