Bruins sign Caron, five others
Jul 18, 2014 - 8:26 PM Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Bruins on Friday officially announced the signing of six players, chief among them winger Jordan Caron.Caron, who totaled one goal and three points in 35 games for the Bruins a season ago, returns on a one-year deal worth $600,000. A veteran of 123 NHL games, all with Boston since 2010, the 23-year-old Quebec native has tallied 12 goals and 16 assists.
Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli also announced that forwards Craig Cunningham, Tyler Randell, defensemen Tommy Cross and Zach Trotman were signed, and the club agreed to terms with forward Justin Florek.
Cunningham, Randell, Florek and Cross were retained on one-year, two-way deals.
Trotman was rewarded with a two-year contract, which is two-way in the first year and one-way in the second.
