Senators sign G Anderson to three-year extension
Aug 25, 2014 - 2:22 PM Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Ottawa Senators signed goaltender Craig Anderson to a three-year contract extension that will run through the end of the 2017-18 season.The average annual value of the contract is $4.2 million.
Anderson went 25-16-8 with a 3.00 GAA in 53 games with the Senators last season. He recorded four shutouts.
The 33-year-old was originally acquired by the Senators from the Colorado Avalanche on Feb. 18, 2011, in exchange for Brian Elliott. He signed a four- year contract extension with the Senators the next month.
In 371 career games with the Blackhawks, Panthers, Avalanche and Senators, Anderson has posted 168 wins with 26 shutouts, a 2.75 GAA and .915 save percentage.
