Ducks sign Smith-Pelly to 2-year contract
Sep 16, 2014 - 8:07 PM Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Anaheim Ducks signed forward Devante Smith-Pelly to a two-year contract on Tuesday.Smith-Pelly, 22, excelled his NHL playoff debut, leading the Ducks with five goals this past spring. He had just two goals in 19 regular-season games for Anaheim last season.
Selected by the Ducks in the second round of the 2010 draft, Smith-Pelly has totaled nine goals and 14 assists in 75 career games.
