Sharks enforcer Scott suspended 2 games
Oct 28, 2014 - 12:42 AM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - San Jose Sharks enforcer John Scott has been suspended two games by the NHL for his actions during a game against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.Scott left the bench on a line change and immediately started a fight with Ducks forward Tim Jackman. He was given a two-minute minor for instigating, a major for fighting and a game misconduct.
Scott, who signed a one-year deal with the Sharks in the offseason, will forfeit $17,073.18.
The incident comes nearly one year to the day of Scott delivering an elbow to the head of Boston's Loui Eriksson that concussed the Bruins' forward. Scott was handed a 10-game suspension for the hit.
