Bruins D McQuaid out 6-8 weeks with broken thumb
Nov 19, 2014 - 9:11 PM Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid is expected to miss between six and eight weeks with a broken thumb, the team announced Wednesday.McQuaid, 28, suffered the injury during Tuesday's 2-0 win over St. Louis.
The sixth-year veteran has one goal and one assist in 20 games this season. He missed time last season with a nagging quad injury.
