Isles' Lee fined for elbowing
Dec 9, 2014 - 5:45 PM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Islanders forward Anders Lee was fined for an elbowing incident in Saturday's game against St. Louis.Lee will have to forfeit $2,286.29, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for his hit against St. Louis defenseman Carl Gunnarsson in the second period of Saturday's contest. He was not penalized on the play.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
