Johansen, Karlsson, Parise capture NHL weekly honors
Jan 26, 2015 - 5:28 PM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Columbus Blue Jackets forward Ryan Johansen, Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson and Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise were named the NHL's players of the week on Monday.Johansen was selected as the First Star after being named -- by a fan vote on Twitter -- the MVP of the 2015 NHL All-Star Game in his home city. He had two goals and two assists for Team Foligno in a 17-12 loss to Team Toews.
Karlsson picked up the Second Star after scoring three goals in two games prior to the league's All-Star break.
Parise also scored three goals to garner the Third Star.
