Red Wings acquire D Zidlicky
Mar 2, 2015 - 8:53 PM Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Red Wings added defensive depth at Monday's trade deadline, acquiring Marek Zidlicky from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a conditional third-round draft pick in 2016.Zidlicky, 38, has registered four goals and 19 assists in 63 games for the Devils in 2014-15. The veteran Czech defenseman is slated to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
He has 82 goals and 308 assists over 762 career games with the Devils, Minnesota and Nashville.
