Flyers, Voracek agree to a multiyear contract extension
Jul 31, 2015 - 1:22 PM PHILADELPHIA (AP) The Philadelphia Flyers and right wing Jakub Voracek have agreed to a multiyear contract extension.Terms of the deal weren't disclosed Thursday.
The 25-year-old Voracek had 22 goals and career highs of 59 assists and 81 points last season.
The 6-foot-2, 214-pound Czech right wing joined Philadelphia in June 2011 in a trade that sent Jeff Carter to Columbus. Voracek has 124 goals and 248 assists in 531 career games in seven seasons with Columbus and Philadelphia. He has four goals and 11 assists in 22 playoff games.
