Sharks coach Peter DeBoer to miss game with personal matter

(AP) San Jose Sharks coach Peter DeBoer will miss Saturday night's game in Pittsburgh to deal with a personal matter.General manager Doug Wilson says assistant coaches Steve Spott, Bob Boughner and Johan Hedberg will run the team in place of DeBoer for the game against the Penguins. Wilson did not elaborate on the reason for DeBoer's absence.
DeBoer is in his first year coaching the Sharks. San Jose has won the first four games on a a six-game road trip that ends Sunday in Columbus.
