0 shoutsBERN, Switzerland (Ticker) -- Brandon Dubinsky scored two goals in the third period as the New York Rangers tallied six times in the final session en route to an 8-1 victory over SC Bern on Tuesday at PostFinance Arena.
Chris Drury, Lauri Korpikoski and defensemen Dmitri Kalinin and Corey Potter also scored in the third period for the Rangers, who face European Champion Metallurg Magnitogorsk on Wednesday.
That will be New York's final tuneup before opening the regular season against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday in Prague, Czech Republic.
Defensemen Dan Girardi and Wade Redden each netted power-play goals in the first period to provide the Rangers with an early 2-0 advantage.
After a scoreless second period, Bern's Travis Roche cut the deficit to 2-1 with a goal early in the third before New York's offensive onslaught.
