Roger Penske moving on from Logano disappointment

Nov 21, 2015 - 11:18 PM HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) Team owner Roger Penske is moving on from the wreck that ultimately cost driver Joey Logano a spot in the Sprint Cup championship field Sunday.

Matt Kenseth returned this weekend for the first time since NASCAR slapped him with a two-race suspension for intentionally wrecking Logano as payback. Kenseth met with Logano at NASCAR's request Friday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Logano won six times this season, reeling off three straight wins in the second round of the Chase.

Penske said after he won the Xfinity Series owners' championship Saturday that he had to keep the team together and not look back at might have been.

''It's very unfortunate when you think about the number of wins we had, the poles, the number of laps led,'' Penske said.
