Union defender Gaddis suspended, fined

Jun 28, 2012 - 9:41 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Union defender Raymon Gaddis was suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount Thursday by MLS.

The league's disciplinary committee determined Gaddis was guilty of a reckless challenge against Sporting Kansas City's Roger Espinoza that "endangered the safety of his opponent."

Gaddis will serve the suspension Saturday against the Houston Dynamo.
