Portland recalls Dike
Jul 11, 2012 - 6:39 PM Portland, OR (Sports Network) - The Portland Timbers recalled forward Bright Dike from his loan with the Los Angeles Blues of USL PRO, and have decided to send defender Andrew Jean-Baptiste to the Blues on a season-long loan.The 25-year-old Dike scored six goals with two assists in 10 games for L.A., while he has also netted two goals in three MLS Reserve League games this season for the Timbers.
Jean-Baptiste, 20, was drafted No. 8 overall by the Timbers in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft and has appeared in four MLS contests for the club this season, scoring one goal.
