Chicago's Puppo loaned to Defensor Sporting Club
Jul 24, 2012 - 10:21 PM Bridgeview, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Fire announced Tuesday that it has loaned striker Federico Puppo to Uruguayan club Defensor Sporting Club for the remainder of the 2012 season."This loan is an opportunity to provide Federico with more consistent playing time," said Fire head coach Frank Klopas. "Defensor is a top team in Uruguay, having won the 2012 Clausura. We look forward to keeping a close eye on his progress while he is playing in Montevideo."
Per club and league policy, terms of the loan deal were not disclosed.
