Valencia acquires Vila on loan from Milan
Jul 31, 2012 - 8:49 PM Valencia, Spain (Sports Network) - Valencia acquired Spain Under-21 defender Didac Vila on a one-year loan from AC Milan on Tuesday.Vila, 23, will be a direct replacement for Jordi Alba, who left Valencia for Barcelona last month, at left back. Vila started his career with Espanyol, and joined Milan in 2011.
He returned to Espanyol on loan for the 2011-12 season, and played 37 matches for the Spanish club and had two goals.
Vila is the fifth addition this summer for Valencia, which finished third in La Liga last season.
